Going Greek !!

So one of the Frat/Soritys had a doughnut breakfast event. I went and of course the doughnuts were good, but I got to see a little bit of what it would be like to be in a type of Greek house and I thought it was really cool. I had been considering this for some time now, but of all the people that they had to have met would be crazy. I def. plan on attending more of these events and maybe considering joining...

Lets Get Cookin

Ok so one of my friends/roommate/fellow co-worker/ decided to get involved in a chili cooking contest for engineering. Me and him went to the grocery store to see what all we could put in it. After about an hour of going from one side to the other he made up his mind and we had 10lbs of meat in the buggy. The chili had chicken, beef, and pork. We went back to the house and he experimented with alot of things and different flavors all day and night. Finally he found it. He decided to call it "3 Meat Texan Man Chili". That night me, my brother, and my roommate went to the Engineering Building hoping to win, but not getting hopes too high. After a few hours and everyone tasting all the chili it was looking good for us. We stood there and watched one of the judges write in 1st place....3 Meat Texan Man Chili. We were all dazed that we won. It was pretty cool knowing that I was part of something like that. We got our picture took..so now just looking for it to be on the main web page of Tech.
